Description
Minutes from a meeting of the Committee of the African Union Society on March 3, 1791, at which the Committee decided to send a letter to Kingston Pease regarding the condition of his son Arthur and asking Pease to send support. Minutes also include a request from "Tony Overing to make a certain Bier to carry the remains of the Dead belonging to the Union Society," which was voted against, and notes a bier has been made by Deacon Peabody. Minutes also include list of monies due to the Society by George Hampshear, Salmar Nubia, Cuffe Drew, and Samuel Easton, and concludes with the addition of a rule that if the widow of a member of the Society marries a non-member who refuses to become a member, then she will lose access to the Treasury.
