A signet-style ring, set with a dark oval-shaped stone. Shoulders of ring have a lattice pattern. A thin band, located under the shank, was probably added to make the ring smaller. According to donor, the ring was once a pair of cuff links, and was transformed into a ring by Blaine's, a jewler on Thames Street.
