Description
A black and white photograph depicting the rear sections of buildings on western Thames Street prior to redevelopment. The buildings are located approximately across from the block between Mary and Church Streets. This section would eventually be demolished to become the southern portion of the Brick Market retail and condominium development.

Pictured in the photograph are three distinct buildings, some with apparent additions. At left is a shingled building with corbels. At center is a building with a shingled, rectangular addition. At right is a brick building with stone detailing; behind this is Curran's Lunch. All buildings are bordered by a chain link fence and trimmed bushes; a car is parked on the street next to Curran's.
