A military sewing kit made of a heavyweight, brown plain weave fabric. All seams bound with brown bias tape; twill tape ties sewn to center flap. Inside consists of two flaps and three small pockets. Largest pocket is made of an off-white twill fabric with pile; contains two cards of buttons (three brown buttons by Wenck & Co.; twelve white buttons by Uniquad. See 2009.31.12 C,D). Inside of kit also includes a small brown pouch containing nine off-white/orange buttons (2009.31.12B).
