Description
A Valentine poem entitled, "To Emily". The poem reads:
There's a dainty Maiden dwells In the city by the sea, Her eyes so bright, her teeth so white And when she smiles at me, My heart begins to flutter, And I wonder if she knows She's as shy as the wood violet, And as open as the rose - A lovely mixture say you? So say I Emily dear - A heart of gold my lady has, A sympathetic ear, So harden not your heart Maiden, But lend your ear to me, And be my Valentine tonight In the city by the sea -
