A starched women's linen jacket or shirt. Features leg-of-mutton sleeves with gathers at shoulder and cuffs, a one inch stand up collar, and gathering across twill tape at back. Front has panel down center with a double row of white buttons; fastens with hidden snaps. Bottom edge has fragments of bias tape, but is mainly unfinished (held with basting stitches). Small pocket on right front with a "B" embroidered monogram. Two patches at shoulder.
