Description
A black and white photograph depicting vandalism and destruction at the Chinese Tea House. Damage due to the Hurricane of 1954 and subsequent vandalism left the Tea House in a state of disrepair through the early 1980s. In the photograph, a man bends down to examine a pile of debris; graffiti cover the walls. Windows and their frames are nonexistent throughout; pieces of wood are seen scattered on the floors.
