Colored postcard of Rogers High School. Back of postcard reads: Rogers High School situated on Broadway, the chief business street of Newport, is a beautiful new structure, completed in 1906; it is built of brick with granite foundations and sandstone trimmings, and cost about $100,000. The first public school organized in Rhode Island was built at Newport in 1640.
