Description
A photograph of Long Wharf in the late 19th century. The Brick Market can be seen at right; two American flags are flying near the building. Directly adjacent to the Brick Market is a sign which reads: "R.R. Condon Ales; Wines & Liquors; Extra Beer." To the left, two clapboard buildings with awnings can be seen; one is labelled "Griffith's Fish Market." Several people are walking on the sidewalks and streets. Carriages are visible under utility poles in Washington Square.
