A glass plate negative depicting Oakwold (c. 1885), a house located on Old Beach Road. The house is constructed with shingles, clapboards, and possibly brick; it has a large gable with exposed timbers, shuttered windows, dormers, two archways, and a front porch supported by carved wooden posts. In the background (at right), Tudor Lodge (1901), which faces Rhode Island Avenue, can be seen.
