Description
A glass plate negative depicting a house originally known as Cliff Lawn, but also known as the Cliff Walk Manor and The Chanler Hotel. The house was built between 1870 and 1873; at the time of this plate, several alterations and additions had already been made. Architectural features include a mansard roof, quoins, two tower-like structures, and a porch with striped awnings. The house is situated on an open lawn with trees in the background.
