Parasol (costume accessory)
Brown silk parasol with brown silk fringe at the center and around the edge. Carved ivory handle that folds and an ivory ring at the top. Eight ribs of wood with ivory tips. Ivory handle has a greyhounds head at the top. Belonged to Miss Catherine Dorcas Brewer, about 1820.
