Description
Pair of leather shoes with red and green embroidery, black dulled sequins and small black coils on the toe. There is also a white silk bow on each shoe. Shoe A seems to have white leather while shoe B has considerably darker leather. Both shoes have pointed toes and 1-1/4" heels. In shoe B label reads, "Charlton, ladies' boot and shoe maker, from London, Windsor, and Bath. Scale-Lane, Hill, Ladies' dress slippers performed in the first fashionable style." Tag in shoe A reads "Original Picadilly, Newport, RI 1730"
