Black wedding coat with tails. Six remaining black fabric button remnants and ten buttonholes on front of coat. Four black buttons remain on cuffs (one on right cuff, three on left). Fragments of four buttons remain on the coat tails. Black and white silk bowtie collar (b) with a buckle. Bowtie collar is wrapped and kept in the left coat tail. This is the wedding coat of Addison Sanford (1821-1879) who married Elizabeth Goodsell in 1848.
