Description
Ivory silk saque-back gown and petticoat made of a complex brocade with red, pink and white flowers and bands of horizontal ivory ribs. Fabric was most likely woven in Spitalfields, England. Sleeve ends are tiered and ruffled; white silk fly fringe trim affixed to collar, center front, sleeves, and petticoat hem.
Stomacher is made of red silk with gold embroidery. C and D are pink silk stockings. E and F are pieces of pink silk with pink embroidery. G is a piece of plain pink silk. E, F and G are probably pieces of ribbon.
