Brown wool Quaker coat; split in back of coat up to waist; pocket on each side; two remaining brown fabric covered buttons; eight button holes on front of coat. Five brown fabric covered bone buttons in plastic bag; one out of the five buttons is not covered in fabric. Coat given to donor by Gordon Brown at yearly meeting in summer 1996. He lives in Barnes, Vermont.
