Piece of pink ball dress with two gold and green embroidered flowers; hand-written note found with the piece of dress reads "piece of Grandma Fowler's ball dress imported for her first ball, when she was Nancy Clarke and danced with Gen. Geo Washington in Newport, RI and worn by Catherine Fowler her daughter, at her first ball".
