Fan is ivory very ornately carved on each end. The inside blades are also carved with open work and held together with a silk ribbon. The handle is metal with a silk tassel, two intricate knots of metal between the handle and the tassel. On the box, 1st label has a lion under which appears "The Diamond Shop." second label: "Chas. N. Hancher".
