Miniature three-drawer slant-front desk; pigeon-holed desk interior; graduating size drawers; ogee bracket feet; exposed dovetailing on top and front; possibly a child's desk or a miniature desk to be used on another table. Drawers contain 2 small glass inkwells with silver lids; assorted papers marked "surprise/Paris". Paper label attributing the desk to Thomas Goddard; may have come to the NHS via the Colony House.
