Description
Head is parian blonde hair with long sausage curls. Face has molded features, blue painted eyes. Body is stuffed cloth, parian arms and legs, flat brown boots. Doll is wearing knitted red, white and blue dress and knitted flag, red, white and blue sash with stars. Possibly made in Germany. Tag reading: "Doll, red, white and blue clothes made and sold for the benefit of Sanitary Commission during Civil War. Doll loaned in Philadelphia (1914) causing great interest."
