Description
Wax dress-maker model. Head made of wax. Body is stuffed cloth. The limbs are cloth with black kid hands. Doll is wearing cotton gauze overdress, bonnet with pink bow. Doll was bought by Hon. Benjamin Bourne of Rhode Island, member of Congress in Philadelphia, 1790-1796. Given to niece, Lillie Turner.
