Description
A memorial box that's a Milliner's Model. The head is papier-mache with black pupils eyes, painted hair with curls to shoulder, molded breast plate outlined in red. The body is made of wood. Doll's clothes are organdy. History on back of box: "'Abbey's Doll' left to her mother, Jane Pringle, a member of the Arch St. Meeting, Philadelphia, 1824. She arranged the box for the doll, together with the roses which were her child's most cherished possessions."
