Engraved initials: "PC"; probably for Phoebe (Bull) Carpenter, b. 1773 and "Phebe C. Bull" (her niece) b. 1814 and "Phebe C. Bull" ; neoclassical style; helmet-shaped; pitcher with "rope" style molding on rim and base. Probably made in Newport, RI.
