Description
2 Sterling silver goblets, white wine shaped. Engraved on bowls: March 31st, 1890 to March 31st, 1915. 93.44.1 Marked IJJ; 93.44.2 marked BJ. There are additional symbols. Goblets commemorate the 25th wedding anniversary of Israel J. and Bessie Shein Josephson. Mr. Josephson founded a clothing store in Newport in 1892 which he renamed Narragansett Clothing in 1915. Donor is their grandson.
