Description
Masonic medal possibly made of brass or gold. An ornate plate with a chain link ribbon and horizontal spear attached to a pendant comprised of a navigation compass, 90-degree angle ruler, and a sunshine. The front of the pin is inscribed with "St. John's Lodge No. 1," and the back is inscribed with "St. John's Lodge Lodge, W.P.M., Sam'l R. Honey, Newport, May 9th, 1881." The box is covered in black leather and the inside is made of red/white silk and blue velvet. The label on the box reads "D.C. Denham, Watches & Jewelry, Clocks & Spectacles, No. ___ Thames Street, Newport, R.I."
