Description
"The situation of the Delaware 15 minutes after she was first struck by the white squall loosing all our sails" written at bottom in yellow. Signed "J.G. Evans" in right corner. Features a ship, the Delaware, in the midst of a storm. Large waves heave the ship about in the water. All of the sails are torn off or tattered. A white moon peeks out from storm clouds in the upper left corner. The frame is black with a trim of gold.
