Description
One border, church with a cemetery in front, two trees, flowers, two female figures, two angels. Stitches: tent and cross. Verse reads, "To the memory of Mary Ingham daughter of Abraham and Mary Ingham who departed her life May the 10 in 1841 aged three years. I was to my mother as a rose tender sweet and good till death you see did summons me and pluck me in the bud. This lovely bud so fresh and fair cut of in early doom is come to show how sweet a flower in Paridise would bloom." Probably made in Newport, RI.
