Gold relief scroll design along 4 - panel, black - enamel band. Lettered in gold relief. "Edward Scott/o.b. 30 June/1768/ae 65." Commemorated death of Edward Scott, d. 1768. Scott was master of the first classical grammar school in Newport, Rhode Island.
