Description
Palm guard for sailmakers; oblong shaped strip of leather with two extra flaps forming a second hole for the thumb. The palm-side has a brass "stone" with a star decoration, top of stone has a circular pattern of dimples. This is worn by a sailmaker to push needles through a sailcloth.
