Description
Wooden cards, for carding flax or wool. Consists of two rectangular pieces of wood with leather pads attached to each. Wire staples have been punched through the leather to provide a toothed surface. Pads are bound at edges with leather straps and tacked to the surface. Each piece has a handle and flax remnants attached. Apparently made from objects at hand. Each has impression that suggests cigar box. Previous label #144.
