Description
Souvenir mug; white ceramic mug with transfer design of Old Stone Mill and gold floral embellishment. Made in Germany for Whitfield Tuck Dry Goods Co., Newport. Maker's mark on bottom: T shield and lion/Germany and shield with "Made In Germany..." Whitfield L. Tuck was president of Whitfield Tuck Dry Goods at 166 and 168 Thames Street. In 1895, Tuck succeeded J. H. Hammett, closed business In 1900.
