Die: very heavy metal weight, slightly indented, covered with wax and has mirror image of inscription: "The City Of Newport, Rhode Island To Benjamin B. Howland/ A Testimonial For Faithful Public Service To Newport During A Period Of Fifty Years, 1876." One half of a die for Benjamin B. Howland medal. (see #01.928)
