Minutes from a meeting of the African Union Society on November 10, 1796, in the house of Abraham Casey in which Theodore Foster's address at the Convention of Deputies from the Abolition Societies (January 6, 1796) was read to the Society. Following the reading, the Society voted and appointed a committee consisting of Newport Gardner, Zingo Stevens, and Prince Amy, to review the seventh article of Foster's address and "report thereon the way and means that the said article may be carried into execution."
