Description
D. Brown writes R. Williams news of the death of J. Hadwin. He was apparently taken ill or injured aboard a navy gunboat. D. Brown writes disapprovingly of his being in the service. She also reports the death of S. Elam "...death is a leveller, no distinction...", and speaks of the illness of a child who "...may early be a plant in the heavenly kingdom..." She speaks of a man's religious doubts. Providence, November 30, 1813.
