Letter from 'Lucius' addressed to Mr. Solomon Southwick evidently intended for the Newport Mercury. Presumably around the time of the Stamp Act. The letter makes reference to "a repeal of the most intolerable of the Coercive Acts” which were passed in March of 1774. It also refers to Lord North as the prime minister, who came into office in 1770.
