Photograph of a "Liberty Loan Parade" taking place in Newport, Rhode Island, in 1918, one year after the passing of the Liberty Loan Act of 1917 that established the sale of war bonds to help with war expenses during World War I. In the photograph, there are several people outside of City Hall in Newport holding up signs and processing in favor of war bonds being sent out.
