Description
Photograph of the ball room in "Crossways," the home of Stuyvesant Fish and his wife, Marion Graves Anthon during the Gilded Age in Newport, Rhode Island. The home was built by the architectural firm, McKim, Mead, and White in 1897 and the living room was designed by architect Joseph G. Stevens, 2nd. Located at the corner of Ocean Avenue and Jeffrey Road, the large estate overlooks the well-known Ocean Drive area.
