Photograph that is part of black and white photo essay depicting the restoration of the Chinese Tea House at Marble House. The essay is entitled "Newport's Chinese Tea House: Before and after-a story of neglect and restoration."

This photo is fourth in the series, and shows the Tea House in a state of disrepair. A man stands amidst a pile of debris; graffiti cover the walls. Windows and their frames are nonexistent throughout, while pieces of wood are seen scattered on the floors.
