A small card, possibly a valentine, written from "S.C. Marble" to "Mrs. P.F. Barker". Consists of two pieces of green paper with punched-hole borders fastened by a pink ribbon. Inside contains the following handwritten message:

"My early Friend and companion
of many happy hours
Accept his trifle, kindly take
And prize it for the givers [sic] sake".

Inside also contains a loop of braided blonde hair, which is tied to the pink ribbon at top top center.
