An engraved map entitled: "A Map of Part of Rhode Island Shewing the Positions of the American and British Armies at the Siege of Newport, and the subsequent Action on the 29th of August 1778." Drawn by S. Lewis, engraved by Benjamin Jones of Philadelphia, and published by C.P. Wayne of Philadelphia. Map was most likely part of a larger volume by John Marshall entitled: "The Life of George Washington, Maps and Subscribers", C.P. Wayne, 1807.
