Description
Gored black skirt with panels of machine-made lace (Possibly Raschel knit, rather than a true lace. Further identification needed). Lace sewn onto white fabric panels 3 1/2 in. wide. Trim of a gathered sheer black fabric 3/4 in. wide sewn to either side of the lace. Panels of black sheer fabric with a meander like design between lace. Sheer fabric is gathered in cartridge pleats at waist and tiers of 1" pleats at towards bottom hem. Lined with stiff black fabric. Underskirt has pintucks and pleated dust ruffle. Mixture of hand and machine stitching. Twill ties inside skirt below waist for attaching a bustle.
