Description
A bas-relief depicting Miss Elizabeth A. Dring in profile. Image is carved into a rectangular, white, plaster-like surface and is signed by the artist ("Agnes Lodberg. 1907."). Metal loop on reverse. A newspaper clipping and 1953 stamp are affixed to reverse. Newspaper clipping reads: "FOR SALE/DRING/HOUSE/10 Whitfield Place/Newport/AT AN/INVITING PRICE/Herbert W. Smith/Real Estate - Insurance/132 Bellevue Avenue/Tel. 810/1953". A note handwritten directly on reverse also reads: "Elizabeth Dring/sister to Mary Janette D. Pearson/and William 'Willy Boy' Dring/He made desk, mirror + wing chair/Their uncle was Robert L. Dring/102 yrs old-died Dec 1953"
