Minutes from a meeting of the African Union Society convened at the house of Charles Chaloner on February 12, 1801. Cuffee Mumford was reported sick, and Ceasar Wanton was tasked with visiting him and determining if he needs assistance. Wanton also "brought the bag and that the price is two shilling eight pence." Additionally, 1 shilling and 6 pence were brought in "for Pall" and put into the Treasury. Present at the meeting: Charles Chaloner, Ceasar Gardner, Cudjo Gibbs, Newport Gardner, Zingo Stevens, Quarm Bowers, Ceasar Wanton, and Cuffee Mumford. Absent: Abraham Casey, Cuffee Benson, Prince Gardner, and John Davice.
