Description
Bracelet is made of Greek coin surrounded by gold: front of coin shows profile of young man facing right; back shows figure leaning on a shield with greek letters spelling "King Lusimachos". Coin is held in place by fan-shaped clips. Flanked on either side by 2 turquoise scarabs in the shape of beetles. Back side of left scarab shows a beetle with a crown; right shows a geometric design. Coin also held in place by a bar on back. In a light brown leather case with a light colored velvet interior. Tag reads: bracelet with coin -- 400 BC. Flanked by Egyptian scarabs from tomb of Ptolemy II.
